Plot and Script Details For Predators Revealed
LatinoReview got the exclusive on the Predators script, and from what they’ve seen, it sounds sick. The film starts with the film’s protagonist, a trained killer named Royce, who chases his foe on a rooftop and kills him, while a Predator monitors and soon abducts him. From here, Royce is transfered to the jungle of the Predators home planet, where he meets seven of Earth’s best killers.
We’ve already discovered Machete actor Danny Trejo will play Mexican-American enforcer Cichillo, a murderer strapped with “twin Uzis” on his back. Other characters include Nikolai, a Russian with a rotary machine gun; Isabelle, a French woman armed with a sniper rifle; Stans, a prisoner from San Quentin; Mombasa, an African member of the Sierra Leone squad; Hanzo, a Japanese Yakuza enforcer; and Edwin, a man formerly on the FBI’s most wanted list.
What’s most interesting is the introduction on new creatures from the Predator species such as Predator dogs and falcons, and the revealing of the master Predator (which the script refers to as Black Super Predator). LR refers to this creature as “a regular Predator jacked up on steroids.” Predators sounds like the perfect sequel to the original film. What was Fox thinking when they bypassed this script 15 years ago?
